The Microbiome Center united researchers across the University of Chicago, the Marine Biological Laboratory, and Argonne National Laboratory, advancing the understanding of the identity and function of microbes. We facilitated research and collaboration through Pilot Awards, Travel Awards, joint research projects, workshops on microbial data analysis, and symposia that highlighted the connected research among our 3 institutions. We look forward to our continued collaborations and published research.
